Refund and returns policy


Damage or defects:

All The DIY Fence Company products come with a “delivered to your door in good condition warranty”. You simply need to open your boxes within 24 hours of receiving them, and let us know if you have any concerns. We will replace damaged items at our cost.

If you have concerns that packaging, or items are damaged on delivery. Please sign the consignment note as “damaged” and take photos immediately.

We will not be responsible for any defects that are identified after the 24hour period or damage due to improper storage or incorrect handling and unpacking of items.

If you have opted to click and collect from out 3PL warehouses. You will need to check the condition of the items, boxes or packaging before you leave the warehouse. We are not able to offer returns or refunds on any damage that you report after leaving the warehouse


Returns or exchanges

We strive to ensure that the products we sell are of the very highest quality. If you do need to return or exchange any items, contact us and we can walk you through the process.

Items can be returned or exchanged at our discretion if within 5 working days of delivery. If discretion applied, stock returned can be returned for an exchange or credit subject to the following conditions:

  • Proof of purchase must be accompanied with the returned merchandise.
  • The merchandise must be re-saleable and in its original condition with all packaging intact.
  • Any discounts received at the time of purchase will be carried over.
  • A restocking fee of 15% or $50 (whichever is greater) applies to returned items.


  • Cash or equivalent refunds are not provided


  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item
  •  Our return policy does not apply to cut to size or custom orders

Returns will not be accepted for change of mind or that you found the product cheaper elsewhere. Please contact us before arranging any returns.

All refunds will be processed withing 21 days.
